Discuss the impact that file format, compression techniques, image resolution and colour depth have on file size and image quality

There are many different file types which you can use for photography such as RAW imagery. RAW images are literally what they are by name, they are raw images taken straight from the camera with no modification whatsoever from the camera or the lens. These are usually extremely large files due to the amount of information taken in and therefore unsupported by many social media and other various websites. Although many systems do not support this file type unless they have specialised programmes many just use a simple JPEG, this is because it supported by the majority of all websites and general programming systems. The term JPEG stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group; this is the name of the committee which was set up 1986.

Evaluate the impact of evolving output mediums on the design and creation of graphic images

There are many ways in which output media has developed over the past ten years alone, for example flat screen television and monitors. It was not that long ago when many still used the large backed televisions and scart leads. These were extremely weighty and the quality of them was not always outstanding, the bulbs were prone to either breaking showing no image or discolouring the picture quality. We needed something better and this is where flat screen televisions came in. Because they were lighter in weight and thinner they were more portable to and able to be placed up against walls as opposed to just being on a television stand which can take up a great deal of space in a confined home. Another feature of the flat screen television was the amount of output options they have, many come built in with a standard RGB output, 1 or more HDMI outputs and at least 2 scarts outputs. With this many outputs they can now support several different consoles without the need for an output divider.

The Images

The edited digital graphics as requested by the assignment.

Here you have the cloning part of the assignment I have just simply cloned one image therefore creating many more

This is the Carlisle College edited by Photoshop

This is the face swap between Alice Cooper and Ozzy Osbourne.

Here we took a cuddly woman and made her more athletic

This is the Grow the Game flyer

Here we can see two different versions of a D.A Mechanics logo. The customer requested something that highlighted areas which can be an annoyance during sporty activities. This proved as a challenge and with limited time of 1 week was difficult.

Here we see the Black and White with a touch of colour.

Here we can see the most demanding project and by far it took the longest but this is the Sketch Yourself image.
Here we can see the effects of what Photoshop can do for the whitening of your very own teeth.

Here we can see two examples of text editing.
